My Confidence Story

You may already know me as the confidence coach creating life changing transformations for professional career & business women, who dances most days on her Instagram stories with NO F’s about who is judging her… 

But I wasn’t always confident.

Growing up I was the shy, “good” girl.

I always did as I was told.

I craved for everyone to like me.

I blindly followed the rules without question.

And tried exceptionally hard to meet the standards society told me I “should” meet.

Through “always doing my best” I achieved success VERY fast in my professional career as an Occupational Therapist landing my dream job in the UK’s specialist military rehab centre 4 years after qualifying. 

Whilst on paper I was exceptionally successful and those around me thought I oozed knowledge, confidence & “she knows what she’s doing” energy…

Inside I felt the opposite!!!

I constantly questioned if I knew enough.

I held impossibly high standards for myself that meant I wasted time perfecting the tiny details, I’d work late & often feel overwhelmed, stressed & anxious.

I never believed the great feedback & I’d downplay my wins.

I’d sabotage myself from progressing further because I feared I’d fail and couldn’t handle the judgement or rejection.

I was living in my head overthinking, overanalysing, worrying what everyone thought.

And this meant I missed out on the opportunity to ENJOY my success and incredible career!

But then I found personal development books & podcasts.

Counselling helped me understand myself better.

Coaching made me understand EXACTLY what I bring to the table & healed my fear of failure.

And I moved from a “lovely lady” to a LEADING lady!

I made the courageous decision to leave my professional registration behind to pursue NEW success as a confidence coach.

Now my clients are mentioning my name ALONGSIDE other coaches with YEARS more experience than me…

And I don’t feel intimidated or less than.

I feel WORTHY & DESERVING.

I OWN that I’m good at what I do.

I embrace getting it wrong.

I encourage myself to break the rules.

I’m confident to speak up and be heard.

And because I trust my ability and worthiness to have, hold and scale success…

I’m LEADING myself and my business through doing it MY way!!
